Senior Electrical Design Engineer

For our client, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate electrical design work within product development projects.
• Select, dimension, and specify main and auxiliary circuit components for electrical cabinets.
• Design prototype test cabinets and specify type testing requirements, including environmental and dielectric verification.
• Contribute to concept-level electrical architecture and technical decision-making.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D.).
• Previous experience in lead or senior electrical design roles.
• Understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, component dimensioning, and relevant standards.
• Experience with electrical engineering design tools.
• Ability to manage both detailed design tasks and the overall technical picture.

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with type testing procedures and documentation.
• Experience with electrical wiring and harness design.
• EPLAN product family experience is beneficial but not required (2D/3D).

Start date: 1 December 2026, or by the beginning of January 2027 at the latest

Project duration: 12 months, with the possibility of multi-year collaboration

Location: Helsinki, preferably at least two days per week on-site (negotiable)

Allocation: 100%

Language: Fluent English; Finnish language skills are considered an advantage
