Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer

Requirements:

• 8–10 years of firmware development experience
• Experience developing firmware for system management controllers; familiarity with IPMI, DCMI, and SMASH standards is particularly relevant
• Experience integrating with platform, BIOS, and operating system components
• Experience developing for embedded Linux; FreeRTOS experience is preferred
• Proficiency in C and assembly
• Hardware debugging experience with tools such as JTAG, I2C bus analyzers, and oscilloscopes is preferred
• Demonstrable debugging skills
• Experience with Agile and milestone-driven product development
• Experience with source control and build management is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and verify manageability firmware running on an embedded RTOS for dense server platforms
• Guide technical concepts from inception through completion
• Develop firmware for productization in reference and ODM designs
• Support firmware used by internal debug and validation teams, as well as customer teams
• Advance scalable manageability across platforms and help reduce time to market

This technical leadership role focuses on firmware architecture for dense server platforms and is offered at a pay range of $90.75–$95.80 per hour.
