- Experience with Tenable, CrowdStrike, or similar vulnerability management and endpoint security tools
- Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Python, and/or Bash
- Demonstrated experience using APIs and integrating data across enterprise platforms
- Strong knowledge of endpoint patch management, vulnerability remediation, and device compliance
- Experience troubleshooting endpoint agent failures, device communication problems, and inconsistent inventory records
- Ability to build automated remediation workflows rather than depend on manual endpoint administration
- Experience analyzing and reconciling large, complex datasets from multiple management and security platforms
- Practical experience using AI-assisted tools to support engineering, automation, and analysis
- Strong root-cause analysis, technical troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently manage technical challenges from investigation through implementation and measurable resolution
- Preferred: Experience developing automated device lifecycle management and decommissioning processes

- Preferred: Familiarity with enterprise ITSM platforms and automated incident or remediation workflows
- Preferred: Experience creating operational dashboards, compliance reports, and automated exception management
- Preferred: Relevant Microsoft, Apple, endpoint management, security, or automation certifications
Responsibilities:
- Investigate Windows and macOS devices that stop communicating with endpoint management platforms, and diagnose causes related to agent health, connectivity, identity, certificates, configuration, or device state
- Create automated monitoring to detect devices that miss defined check-in windows, and build workflows to classify and remediate inactive or noncompliant endpoints
- Automate removal of retired devices across MDM, directory, identity, and security platforms; improve inventory accuracy and address stale or conflicting records
- Investigate operating system and application patch failures, identify root causes of devices exceeding remediation SLAs, and implement corrective measures
- Reconcile patch and compliance data across Microsoft Intune, Iru/Kandji, Tenable, CrowdStrike, and inventory platforms
- Develop automated monitoring, remediation, escalation, and compliance-reporting workflows for patching issues
- Design and implement scalable automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, APIs, and existing enterprise tools
- Replace recurring manual work with reliable workflows for endpoint cleanup, agent remediation, patch troubleshooting, and compliance reporting
- Build scripts and integrations that detect recurring issues and initiate corrective action, with appropriate logging, validation, error handling, and exception management
- Analyze and correlate data from endpoint management, security, vulnerability, and ITSM systems; verify data accuracy and identify systemic problems
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools for investigation, scripting, analysis, and workflow development, validating results against organizational security requirements
- Establish metrics and reporting that show improvements in endpoint health, compliance, vulnerability exposure, and operational efficiency
- Document solutions and transfer knowledge to permanent engineering teams
