Senior Full Stack Developer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or an engineering discipline; equivalent experience may be considered
• At least five years of professional Java development experience
• Recent experience with Java 8 and Spring Boot
• Experience using Spring REST controllers to build RESTful web services and JSON-based communication
• Experience with JavaScript and a framework such as Node.js, Angular.js, or React
• Proficiency with web services, JSON, and XML
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile development teams and processes
• Experience with SQL; NoSQL experience is a plus
• Experience using Git or GitHub for source control
• Creative, analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, organize priorities, and manage multiple tasks
• Experience with asynchronous processes and message queues is a plus
• Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus
• Experience supporting or implementing public-facing ecommerce websites is a plus
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD concepts and tools

Responsibilities:

• Write well-designed, modular, performant, and thoroughly tested code in line with industry best practices
• Assess operational feasibility by analyzing problems, requirements, development approaches, and proposed solutions
• Make sound technical decisions to address business challenges
• Contribute to technical feasibility assessments before development begins, helping evaluate the viability and priority of product enhancements
• Participate in code reviews as part of a rigorous, PCI-compliant quality assurance process
• Communicate with stakeholders to address problems efficiently and meet business needs in a timely, satisfactory manner
• Work with QA, end users, product managers, and project managers to meet quality and specification requirements
