Senior Full Stack Developer - Java/Angular

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least eight years of significant software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java; extensive Angular experience is an asset.
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS, along with containers, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD, and observability.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• A proactive, collaborative approach to driving change and working as part of a team.
• Initiative, ability to work under pressure, strong teamwork skills, and attention to detail.
• Authorization to work in Canada is required; Canadian work experience is not required. We do not provide immigration sponsorship or related support, and candidates are responsible for maintaining their work eligibility.
• Candidates located in Quebec must be bilingual in French and English because the role involves frequent collaboration with English-speaking colleagues across Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze systems and programming requirements, identify issues, and propose solutions, including program specifications.
• Develop system specifications and code, modify, test, and debug programs according to established plans and timelines.
• Build a strong understanding of technical systems and business functionality, explaining them to colleagues and working effectively with users.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications and software components.
• Organize and manage production sessions.
• Design and model solutions to complex programming problems that meet documented functional and non-functional requirements.
• Review project designs, emphasizing code and design quality.
• Develop and support complex components.
• Guide and support the project team through development to promote code quality and meet timelines.
• Write unit and integration tests for each function developed.
• Contribute to regression-testing strategies that improve application stability.
• Provide Level 1 application support and maintenance, and resolve complex defects.
