Senior IT Applications Specialist

Requirements:

• Associates degree or higher in an IT- or business-related field, such as MIS or Business Management, plus at least four years of related technical tool administration experience; alternatively, at least six years of related experience without this education requirement.
• Experience creating, testing, configuring, updating, manipulating, or scripting technical tools or applications.
• Familiarity with project management tools and technologies such as PWA, MS Project, Planview AgilePlace, PowerApps, Power Automate, Access, ODBC, and production databases.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to service requests and inquiries, resolving issues promptly.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot PWA, MS Project, Planview AgilePlace, PowerApps, Power Automate, and other project management applications.
• Conduct license audits for tools such as MS Project Server and Planview AgilePlace.
• Help establish QA environments and prepare tools for project management training sessions.
• Ensure training environments are ready and provide on-site technical support during sessions.

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented App Specialist contractor to support our Project Management organization and its initiatives. This role combines application support, training assistance, system maintenance, and troubleshooting, with collaboration across teams. The assignment is remote, with work hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and pays $47.14–$57.14 per hour.
