Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot
- Practical Python development and scripting experience
- Ability to understand Java code and implement equivalent business logic in Python
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, JSON, and system integrations
- Strong SQL and relational database experience
- Knowledge of unit testing, debugging, Git, and CI/CD practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Preferred: BFSI experience in banking, payments, lending, or financial services
- Preferred: Exposure to Java-to-Python migration, application modernization, or legacy transformation projects
- Preferred: Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI
- Preferred: Familiarity with cloud platforms and enterprise application architecture
- Preferred: Understanding of financial transaction processing, data security, and regulatory requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot
- Analyze existing Java applications, business logic, and workflows to support the transition to Python
- Develop and maintain Python components, translating Java-based business logic into Python
- Support application modernization, code migration, and integration activities
- Build and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise application integrations
- Work with relational databases, SQL queries, and data-processing workflows
- Perform unit and integration testing, debugging, code reviews, and performance optimization
- Maintain functional consistency, data integrity, security, and reliability during migration
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and cross-functional engineering teams
- Follow secure coding standards and applicable BFSI compliance requirements
