Senior M365 Engineer

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in systems, infrastructure, or Microsoft cloud engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD
• Strong background in Active Directory and hybrid identity
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Ability to work independently in an enterprise environment
• Experience administering Microsoft 365
• Experience with Intune and endpoint management
• Experience with Conditional Access and MFA
• Experience with identity lifecycle management
• Experience with PowerShell

Responsibilities:

• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD and hybrid Active Directory environments
• Manage SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, PIM, identity lifecycle processes, and user provisioning
• Administer Microsoft Intune policies, compliance, device management, and Autopilot
• Support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
• Resolve complex authentication, access, endpoint, and Microsoft 365 issues
• Support Microsoft Defender, Purview, DLP, and information protection
• Develop PowerShell automation for identity and Microsoft 365 administration
• Support integrations between on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft cloud services
• Identify ways to improve security, automation, and operational efficiency
• Take ownership of technical problems and manage them through resolution

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Microsoft 365/Entra Engineer for our client in Roanoke, Virginia. The role strengthens an established infrastructure and cloud team and involves ongoing ownership of complex issues, rather than work limited to a single project.
