Senior Mobile Test Automation Engineer

Requirements:

• Strong mobile testing expertise across Android and iOS platforms.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Python-based test automation frameworks.
• Advanced knowledge of QA methodologies and practices, including leading complex testing initiatives for enterprise mobile applications.
• Expertise with configuration management and version control tools such as Git.
• Extensive experience designing and executing usability, functional, and regression testing.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to produce detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with agile software development methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full testing lifecycle, from requirements analysis and test case creation through manual execution and automation.
• Lead manual and automated testing of mobile applications across Android and iOS devices, configurations, and operating system versions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Python automated test scripts and frameworks, contributing to CI/CD pipelines.
• Review technical specifications and user stories to identify risks and establish testing strategies.
• Investigate and help resolve critical defects in collaboration with development teams.
• Oversee the configuration and maintenance of test environments to ensure they are stable and ready for use.
• Recommend testing methods, tools, and practices to improve quality and efficiency.
• Mentor junior test engineers in advanced testing techniques, Python automation, and mobile QA practices.
• Prepare test reports, defect summaries, and release notes for stakeholders.
