Senior .NET Developer

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET
• Hands-on experience building WPF applications with MVVM and experience with WinForms
• Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, REST services, and microservices
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills, including troubleshooting and query optimization
• Experience developing and supporting Azure solutions, including services such as Functions, Application Insights, Redis, Azure SQL, and Storage
• Working knowledge of LINQ, dependency injection, and automated unit testing
• Experience with Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile/Scrum
• Familiarity with API lifecycle management platforms
• Experience contributing to architecture decisions, reviewing code, and mentoring developers
• Strong communication skills and the ability to balance technical decisions with business needs
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to work onsite in Strongsville, Ohio

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications and backend services using C#, .NET, WPF, WinForms, Web API, and SQL Server
• Build and support REST APIs and microservices deployed in Azure
• Lead technical design discussions and help shape application architecture
• Modernize existing software while preserving its performance, reliability, and usability
• Troubleshoot production issues, including SQL Server performance problems and query execution plans
• Review code, establish coding standards, and mentor other developers
• Write unit tests and use dependency injection and maintainable design patterns
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and pair programming
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to understand requirements and resolve issues
