Senior Programmer/Analyst - Hybrid

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of software development experience
• Strong experience developing with React and/or Angular
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and microservices architecture
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
• SQL development and database experience
• Experience migrating legacy applications to cloud environments
• Cloud platform experience, preferably GCP; AWS experience may also qualify with strong cloud migration experience and some GCP exposure
• Experience across the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and production support
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Preferred: experience in financial services, banking, fintech, or capital markets
• Preferred: exposure to FX, trading, broker-dealer, or commercial banking applications
• Preferred: experience with application modernization, digital transformation, vendor platform integrations, or cloud-based database and application migrations
• Preferred: familiarity with systems acquired through mergers and acquisitions and related integration work
• Candidates must be available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees

Responsibilities:

• Support specialty banking and capital markets platforms, including FX, trading, broker-dealer, and commercial banking applications
• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React and/or Angular, .NET, and microservices
• Lead and contribute to modernization of legacy applications
• Help migrate applications and services from on-premises environments to GCP
• Develop and support integrations with internal and third-party vendor APIs
• Support database modernization and migrations involving SQL and cloud-based data platforms
• Convert legacy applications, including ASP.NET solutions, to modern front-end frameworks such as React
• Design, test, debug, document, and implement software enhancements and new functionality
• Provide production support and help resolve issues across business-critical applications
• Collaborate with business partners, architects, and development teams on strategic technology initiatives
• Participate in automated deployment, validation, and operational improvement efforts to reduce manual support

We are recruiting a Senior Programmer/Analyst for a regional financial institution in a contract-to-hire role through Genesis10. The position is hybrid, with approximately four days onsite each week, and may be based in Columbus, Ohio; Charlotte, North Carolina; Dallas, Texas; Detroit, Michigan; or Minneapolis, Minnesota. Compensation is $65–$71 per hour on W-2, based on qualifications. The role supports specialty banking and capital markets technology platforms and includes modernization and cloud migration work.
