Senior Python Developer

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of hands-on professional Python software development experience, including production-grade coding rather than scripting; alternatively, 1–2 years of Python development experience with an advanced degree in Computer Science or another related quantitative field.
• Experience with Git in a team-based development environment, SQL and relational databases, containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes, and unit testing frameworks such as Pytest or JUnit.
• Proficiency in shell scripting for automation, troubleshooting, and operational support, plus experience implementing automated test coverage.
• Familiarity with Pandas, fixed-income concepts such as duration, convexity, spread, and OAS, and Agile development processes.
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and business skills.
• Preferred: a graduate degree in a quantitative discipline; knowledge of GAAP accounting fundamentals, including revenue and expense recognition and amortization; CFA or FRM certification, or substantial progress toward CFA, FRM, or CPA.
• Preferred: experience with stakeholder engagement and product or project management tools such as JIRA.
