Senior Radar Software Engineer

Requirements:

• A STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, unless local laws or regulations prohibit this combination.
• Experience developing in C++ on a Linux- or Unix-based platform.
• Experience in at least one area supporting radar software development: radar systems and signal processing; digital signal processing; RF systems and antenna concepts; radar scene and signal modeling; or electronic attack and protection concepts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an interim U.S. government Secret security clearance before starting; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
• Preferred: an active Secret clearance; experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner; at least 3 years of MATLAB modeling development; experience with MDA X-Band Radars; radar signal-processing and simulation software; high-fidelity radar scene and complex baseband (I/Q) simulation; high-performance real-time software; parallel programming or hardware acceleration; and performance analysis, profiling, and optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Support one or more phases of the system development life cycle, including requirements, design, C and C++ development, testing, validation, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to define, design, and implement features, supporting system integration and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code for performance and efficiency in complex environments.
• Create and maintain software documentation, including system architecture and design specifications.
• Participate in product reviews and follow engineering standards and best practices.
• Keep current with industry developments in modern languages, AI, DevSecOps, and other methods and technologies relevant to complex systems.
• Demonstrate leadership and serve in part-time or full-time leadership roles.
