Senior Salesforce Developer

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, including substantial hands-on development in complex, heavily customized Salesforce organizations.
• Strong skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, Salesforce data modeling, and security architecture.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations, including REST and SOAP APIs.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, capabilities, and limitations.
• Ability to read, debug, and optimize Apex and JavaScript code.
• Experience with event-driven patterns, such as Platform Events and Change Data Capture (CDC).
• Familiarity with Salesforce SSO configuration and identity management.
• Experience using Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment with competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with globally distributed teams.
• Available to work in the office at least 3–4 days per week.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Preferred: Salesforce Platform App Builder, Developer, or Architect certification.
• Preferred: Experience developing Experience Cloud sites.
• Preferred: Familiarity with React or other modern front-end frameworks and their integration with Salesforce.
• Preferred: Understanding of relational databases and data design, including SQL or SOQL.
• Preferred: Knowledge of least-privilege access, separation of duties, and enterprise security principles.
• Preferred: Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Preferred: Background supporting Salesforce in financial services or investment banking.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain customized Salesforce solutions across our heavily tailored Salesforce organization.
• Build and support Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, including inbound and outbound data flows.
• Apply CDC, Platform Events, and asynchronous processing to support event-driven architectures.
• Connect Salesforce with external systems through middleware, APIs, and real-time data exchanges.
• Support and enhance authentication and access patterns, including SSO and identity integrations.
• Investigate and resolve complex Salesforce platform issues involving performance, security, and data integrity.
• Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning, delivering high-quality solutions on tight timelines.
• Ensure our solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices, security guidelines, and performance standards.
