Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of SAP experience, with strong SAP FI/CO functional expertise
• Experience leading SAP projects and implementations, including implementation, rollout, upgrade, or transformation work
• Strong knowledge of business process design and optimization
• Experience in AMS and enterprise support environments
• Ability to document business processes and technical solutions
• Understanding of IT architecture, cloud technologies, APIs, governance, and security
• Experience collaborating with global business and technology teams
• Knowledge of SAP FI, SAP CO (Controlling), SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA
• Experience with Material Ledger, month-end close, cost accounting, financial accounting, asset accounting, bank integrations, payment file processing, and EDI integrations
• Skills in functional design and configuration, business process analysis, requirements gathering, test planning and execution, data conversion and migration, SAP architecture, and integration with PP, MM, and SD
• Experience with SAP support and production operations, project leadership, and stakeholder management
• Preferred: S/4HANA brownfield conversion experience and SAP certifications
• Preferred: Experience with SAP VIM, Vertex tax integration, SAP tax solutions, cloud architecture, big data technologies, Agile methodologies, and project management frameworks
• Preferred: Experience with innovation and transformation programs, global SAP deployments, finance transformation initiatives, or AMS leadership

Responsibilities:

• Serve as SAP Solution Architect and trusted advisor for Finance and Cost business functions
• Lead SAP-driven digital transformation initiatives and develop technology roadmaps
• Design SAP solutions to improve operational efficiency and business agility
• Gather requirements, analyze business processes, and prepare functional designs
• Configure, develop, and implement SAP FI/CO solutions
• Lead SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and transformation initiatives
• Support SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments
• Establish best practices, solution architectures, and governance standards
• Coordinate integrations across FI, CO, MM, PP, SD, banking, EDI, and third-party systems
• Prepare test plans and scripts, coordinate UAT, and support data conversion efforts
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve issues
• Provide end-user support and training, and create process documentation
• Lead project teams, business workshops, and cross-functional initiatives
• Work with business stakeholders, AMS teams, vendors, and IT resources
• Assess emerging SAP technologies and recommend improvements
• Develop business cases and solution recommendations for future investments
• Mentor technical teams and provide architecture leadership

We are recruiting for a Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant role based in Tampa, Florida. The position is a 12+ month contract with the possibility of conversion to hire, and follows a hybrid schedule with four days onsite. Relocation is open to candidates already in Florida.
