We are recruiting for a Systems Engineer role with our client, focused on providing engineering direction across cloud architecture, integration, security, and verification for complex cloud-hosted software systems. The work spans technical planning, platform studies, regulated-environment fielding, networking, DevSecOps, and AI-assisted engineering; the role emphasizes design guidance and cross-functional influence rather than day-to-day coding. This is a hybrid position in Ashburn, Virginia, or Gaithersburg, Maryland, with a W-2 hourly rate of $60–$70. Our W-2 consultants may receive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company matching; benefits eligibility and options may depend on scheduled hours and applicable conditions. We are Eliassen Group, a strategic consulting firm providing technology, business advisory, and life sciences solutions. We use AI tools during initial application screening and hiring, with AI-assisted evaluations reviewed by human recruiters.
