Senior Track Engineer

Requirements:

• Six to 15 years of relevant experience
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Experience with special trackwork design
• Fluency with OpenRail Designer

Responsibilities:

• Lead preparation of track design documents, including plans, specifications, quantity estimates, and design calculations
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
• Lead track design tasks, including horizontal and vertical geometry and modeling in OpenRail Designer
• Lead horizontal and vertical track alignment design, including survey data processing and regression analysis
• Design special trackwork details for procurement and installation
• Perform track inspections and fieldwork as needed
• Help adapt OpenRail Designer workspaces to meet client-specific standards
