Senior VB.NET Developer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related technology field
• At least 2 years of experience as a VB .NET Developer, including web application development with ASP.NET WebForms, VB, C#, MVC, JavaScript, LINQ, and SQL
• Experience with AJAX, jQuery, JSON, XML, XAML, CSS, and .NET UI controls such as Telerik
• Experience applying PSP, TSP, and CMMI Dev 1.3 software development methodologies
• At least 1 year of experience managing databases with SQL
• At least 1 year of experience using UNIX, Shell scripting, and Classic ASP

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and support web applications using ASP.NET WebForms, MVC, and RESTful services in VB
• Design, implement, and support .NET RESTful services and Web Services in VB
• Work with cross-functional teams to build features and enhancements
• Discuss, estimate, and deliver feature requirements in collaboration with product owners and managers
• Use Classic ASP, Unix, Shell scripting, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, XML, XAML, CSS, and .NET UI controls, including Telerik and ComponentArt
• Lead and contribute to team projects while following software development best practices and industry standards
