Senior Web Application Developer with Active

Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance
• Experience developing, testing, and implementing systems in complex environments involving mainframe, web, and GUI components.
• Ability to lead architecture and design decisions, explain technical choices, think critically about new systems, lead design discussions, and drive solutions from the ground up.
• Hands-on experience with web applications, particularly multi-tier applications, API development, web services in a .NET environment, and MVC applications using controllers, models, and views.
• Experience developing internet applications in a Microsoft web environment using ASP.NET, SQL Server (including stored procedures), Visual Studio 2010 or later, and IIS.
• Experience with SQL query optimization and programming languages including HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python, PHP, and SQL.
• Experience using DB2 Connect and integrating with mainframe applications.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming WCF services within an enterprise architecture.
• Strong web application development skills, including building scalable applications, and experience with back-end development and general software development practices.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and applying its principles to application design.
• Experience with modern web frameworks, APIs, and database integrations.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, performance optimization, and debugging tools.
• Ability to work remotely, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Several years of experience in senior or lead developer roles; experience in enterprise or government environments is a plus.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain complex web applications, including application architecture and robust feature implementation.
• Write clean, efficient code; review and refactor existing codebases; troubleshoot issues; and optimize application performance.
• Work with product owners, business analysts, and other developers to turn requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Mentor team members, follow secure development practices, and help improve development standards and processes.
• Develop, test, and implement systems in a web-based environment.
