Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a masters degree with 6+ years; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• At least 4 years of hands-on ServiceNow development with JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, and XML.
• Strong experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, API integrations, and custom application development.
• Expertise in ServiceNow IT Asset Management, including SAM Pro, HAM Pro, and software licensing.
• Experience with ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise implementations and ServiceNow platform governance.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to work onsite in Camp Springs, Maryland.
• At least one certification: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Preferred: Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Preferred: ServiceNow CAD (if meeting the required certification through CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITSM, or ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
• Preferred: BMC Helix or BMC Remedy experience; familiarity with Now Assist, AI agents, and intelligent automation; prior DoD, Air Force, or federal IT modernization experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow SAM Pro, SaaS Management, and HAM Pro integrations.
• Develop entitlement models, license metrics, normalization rules, and automated reconciliation processes.
• Automate software requests, allocation, reclamation, renewals, and retirement using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and scoped applications.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable ServiceNow applications and customized workflows.
• Build Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, and Service Portal widgets.
• Use JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, and XML to optimize CMDB relationships, data models, and asset tables.
• Create REST/SOAP API integrations with enterprise systems, discovery tools, vendor portals, and procurement platforms.
• Configure imports, transform maps, and scheduled jobs to synchronize data reliably.
• Develop SAM dashboards, compliance reports, executive views, and automated audit reports.
• Prepare technical specifications and promote applications across development, test, and production environments.
• Conduct unit testing, resolve defects, perform upgrades and patching, and validate through the Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Assess Now Assist and AI-powered automation to improve asset operations and self-service.
• Translate requirements in collaboration with IT Asset Managers, Procurement, architects, and ITIL process owners.
• Produce technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles; mentor teammates and support knowledge transfer.
