Site Reliability Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience in system administration or site reliability engineering within enterprise systems
• Strong Linux/Unix administration, scripting, and service management skills
• Proficiency in IP network engineering, including routing, VLANs, load balancing, VPNs, SSL, and DNS
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Expertise with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK
• Automation and configuration experience using Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform
• Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code pipelines

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain non-production test environments for hybrid billing systems and related platforms
• Design and document environment topologies, dependencies, and infrastructure provisioning specifications
• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade operating systems, middleware, and applications in hybrid environments
• Manage IP routing, firewalls, DNS, load balancers, VPNs, and secure network connectivity
• Implement and maintain observability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog
• Develop scripts and tools for automation, monitoring, and deployment
• Design automated alerting, escalation, and remediation processes for critical systems
• Uphold data protection, access control, and compliance standards
• Collaborate with QA, development, and operations teams to maintain test environment readiness and uptime

We are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to manage and optimize test instances supporting our hybrid billing systems. The role combines system administration, network engineering, and reliability engineering to keep integration and testing environments stable, observable, and resilient. The position includes designing, documenting, and overseeing infrastructure installation, configuration, monitoring, and ongoing improvement. The pay range is $45–$50 per hour.
