Requirements:
- 5–6 years of hands-on software development and data engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and UNIX
- Strong Snowflake experience, including performance tuning and data modeling
- Experience with Snowflake Cortex and Streamlit
- Hands-on experience with AWS data lake services, including Lake Formation, Glue, Step Functions, and Lambda
- Experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code across AWS and Snowflake
- Expertise in data movement with AWS CLI, Python APIs, Spark, and Boto3
- Familiarity with Athena, S3 Select, EMR, Redshift, S3, and EC2
- Knowledge of workload scheduling tools; Control-M is preferred
- CI/CD experience with Bitbucket or Git and Jenkins, plus change management using ServiceNow
- Experience with monitoring and log tracing using AWS CloudWatch and Splunk
- Preferred: Knowledge of AI agentic workflows, MCP servers, or AI/ML platforms such as Databricks
- Preferred: Experience working in Agile teams delivering cloud data solutions
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-native data pipelines and services on AWS and Snowflake
- Implement data lake architectures using Lake Formation, Glue, Step Functions, and Lambda
- Develop Python, Shell, and UNIX solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration
- Create and manage infrastructure as code for AWS and Snowflake resources using Terraform
- Optimize Snowflake performance and implement Snowflake Cortex features and Streamlit applications
- Enable secure, governed data movement using AWS CLI, Python APIs, Spark, and Boto3
- Support analytics services such as Athena, S3 Select, EMR, and Redshift as needed
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket or Git and Jenkins, with approvals in ServiceNow
- Monitor and troubleshoot systems using AWS CloudWatch and Splunk, including logging and tracing
- Schedule and orchestrate workloads with Control-M or similar tools
