Software Dev Engineer II

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, plus at least one year of experience in the position offered or a related occupation.
• At least one year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multithreaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• At least one year of experience with object-oriented design.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, test, and document embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
• Turn functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that fit the overall system architecture.
• Contribute throughout the full development cycle, from design and implementation through testing, documentation, delivery, and maintenance.
• Create comprehensive, usable software documentation.
• Assess and decide whether to use new or existing software products and tools.
• Mentor junior development engineers.

We are hiring multiple Software Development Engineer II employees (job reference AMZ27166.1) for our team in Santa Monica, California. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week, generally from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The annual pay range is $143,700–$194,400; the base pay offered may vary according to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
