Software Developer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical field.
• At least 6 years of experience in software design, coding, code compilation, software requirements management, systems integration, systems engineering tools, and system architecture design.
• At least 3 years of experience with software development tools such as C/C++, Jira, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar DevSecOps toolsets.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• At least 6 years of experience engineering, designing, integrating, testing, and supporting software and hardware systems.
• At least 4 years of experience debugging software, troubleshooting systems, and optimizing application performance, including identifying bottlenecks, memory leaks, and processing inefficiencies.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Preferred: At least 10 years of experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, or C++.
• Preferred: At least 6 years of experience in software design, coding, code compilation, software requirements management, systems integration, systems engineering tools, and system architecture design.
• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience developing mobile applications and graphical user interfaces (GUIs).

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with technical teams across Information Assurance, Engineering, Testing, Configuration Management, and Training.
• Propose and demonstrate technical approaches aligned with military standards and specifications.
• Manage priorities across multiple projects and communicate progress, successes, and challenges to the integrated technical team.
• Follow established configuration management procedures for all coding.
• Work with government personnel to set up lab equipment, install and update software, and configure systems.
• Create and maintain documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures, software and hardware configurations, and related materials.

We anticipate a salary range of $115,000 to $125,000 for this position.
