Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least three years of related experience
- Front-end and back-end development experience
- Experience with JavaScript/Node.js and React
- Strong experience with SQL databases and exposure to MongoDB
- Experience in Agile development environments using Azure DevOps
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Agile processes
Responsibilities:
- Develop moderately complex features with minimal oversight
- Maintain and enhance legacy systems and services
- Contribute to new development using Node.js and modern .NET
- Work across front-end and back-end code as needed
- Collaborate with QA and product teams to validate and refine functionality
- Participate in architectural discussions and team improvement efforts
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to peers
- Support production deployments and resolve technical issues
- Write well-structured, maintainable code across service layers, APIs, and data models
- Take part in design discussions and lead debugging sessions
- Balance near-term delivery with long-term maintainability
- Guide newer team members, uphold coding standards, and contribute to Agile planning and reviews

We are recruiting for a Software Developer II position with a client in Rochester, New York. The listed pay range is $40–$50 per hour and may be negotiable based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
