Software Developer (Power Platform)

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Proficiency with Power Apps, Power BI, and other Power Platform tools, including canvas and model-driven apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint Lists, relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL, and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and Microsoft Azure is an advantage.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Power BI, OneDrive, Teams, and Outlook.
• Experience with the Microsoft Graph API and familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for SharePoint Online and Teams.
• Understanding of the Microsoft identity platform (Azure Active Directory) and secure application access control.
• Due to federal contract requirements, applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs, define technical specifications, and design efficient, scalable software solutions.
• Build solutions with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, including apps, workflow automation, and secure data management.
• Develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications using Microsoft development tools and technologies, such as Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Pages.
• Apply Agile practices, including Scrum or Kanban, to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code that follows established standards and best practices.
• Conduct unit tests and contribute to integration testing to ensure quality and functionality.
• Integrate applications with existing systems and APIs.
• Deploy applications to production and monitor their performance, stability, and scalability.
• Keep current with developments in Microsoft tools and Microsoft 365 capabilities.

This is a hybrid role, and employees must live within commuting distance of our Arlington, Virginia headquarters. Compensation is $95,000–$120,000 plus a performance bonus.
