Software Development Engineer II - New York

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in the offered role or a related occupation.
• At least one year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• At least one year of experience with Object-Oriented Design.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, test, and document embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
• Turn functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that fit within the overall system architecture.
• Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing, documentation, delivery, and maintenance.
• Create comprehensive, usable software documentation.
• Assess and select new or existing software products and tools.
• Mentor junior development engineers.
