Software Engineer

Requirements:

• We need 5+ years of software development experience.
• We look for hands-on experience building large-scale microservice applications and breaking apart monolithic systems.
• We require strong proficiency in C#.
• We need working knowledge of at least one datastore technology, including RDBMS platforms such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server, or NoSQL options such as MongoDB or Redis.
• We value the ability to turn requirements into independently releasable components with a ship-often mindset.
• A bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
• Helpful experience with Kafka, Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions, REST, and CI/CD is a plus, though not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• We design and build backend services, including microservices, datastores, APIs, and event streams for listings, inventory, and pricing systems using C#, .NET Core, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• We make sure our backend platforms stay performant and scale effectively as data volumes and traffic grow.
• We collaborate with internal teams that integrate with our backend services and deliver incremental enhancements based on needs and feedback.
• We work to separate services from an existing monolithic application.
• We contribute to new architecture initiatives and support internal tooling for catalog operations.
