Software Engineer - Cloud Engineering (C++) - WALTHAM

Requirements:

• We require at least 5 years of hands-on experience in software development and cloud engineering.
• Were looking for proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C/C++ or equivalent, plus Python.
• We require hands-on operational knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or OCI.
• Were looking for strong knowledge of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
• We value familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• We require excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Were looking for someone able to work with limited supervision, set priorities, and deliver results independently.
• Experience developing distributed data management systems, such as NetApp ONTAP or similar, is preferred.
• Advanced AWS, GCP, or OCI certifications are preferred.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is preferred.
• Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Youll develop a strong technical understanding of our existing cloud data management and storage solutions, including their interdependencies and limitations.
• Youll contribute throughout the product development cycle, including design, development, test automation, debugging, support, and resolution of impactful customer issues.
• Youll work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Youll research ambiguous or unstructured work and turn vague requirements into clearly articulated ones.
• Youll design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, robust operating systems and capabilities that run our data management applications in the cloud.
• Youll collaborate with cloud partners and internal engineering teams to address market and customer needs, technology advances, innovation, product quality, cost, and time-to-market.
• Youll set priorities and drive results with limited supervision while contributing to a peer-to-peer culture of learning and continuous improvement.
