Sr. Full Stack Developer - Python & AI

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, plus at least 2 years of experience developing analytics software applications; alternatively, a bachelors degree in one of these fields plus at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Practical experience with Python, front-end technologies such as React and JavaScript, and web application development, with the ability to write effective code.
• Creativity and the ability to deliver solutions quickly.
• Knowledge of quantitative finance, Python web technologies such as Flask and Dash, Python data-processing tools such as Pandas and NumPy, web application fundamentals including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, databases and SQL, and Linux/Unix.
• Experience in fixed income, accounting, or capital markets is a plus.
• AI experience, including using large language models to build agentic applications, is a plus.
• Preferred experience includes AI agent programming; JavaScript frameworks and tools such as jQuery, data tables, and React; front-end design, CSS, and Tailwind; cloud technologies such as Google Kubeflow and AWS; mortgage or GSE experience; and R, Java, C, C++, or SAS.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support systems for financial modeling, analytics, and research.
• Create new code and review existing code changes to ensure they meet our standard technology development practices.
• Help operate software solutions used to monitor and control market and credit risks.
• Assist with application development, modifications, and maintenance, applying knowledge of development tools and programming languages.
• Work with other financial research and engineering teams to define requirements for system applications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
