Sr Mainframe Developer

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience.
• Expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IMS, CICS, and DB2.
• Strong CICS programming skills, including CICS screen programming.
• Hands-on development and coding experience, including MQ Series and IMS DB.
• Experience with version control.
• Effective communication with team members and clients, along with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience building and maintaining new test regions is preferred.
• Experience with banking compliance and regulatory platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement solutions to address complex business challenges, support data-driven decision-making, and improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare architecture and design documents for complex banking applications, accounting for constraints that affect implementation.
• Write secure, high-quality code that works effectively with other subsystems.
• Challenge conventional approaches and bring creative ideas to improve operations.
• Troubleshoot issues, collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to understand complex requirements, and translate them into design and development work.
