Staff Data Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience building ELT pipelines in a data warehouse environment
• Strong experience with dimensional data modeling, including Kimball, Data Vault, or Medallion approaches
• Hands-on expertise with dbt and Airflow or Dagster
• Strong experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses, distributed data systems, and Kubernetes environments
• Deep understanding of append-only data modeling, point-in-time data structures, and column-oriented analytical SQL modeling
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience applying test-driven development to data pipelines and using Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices
• Preferred: experience with modern data mesh or data platform architectures, real-time or streaming pipelines, or large-scale analytics and BI environments

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and scale modern data pipelines and architectures for enterprise analytics, reporting, and data products
• Take hands-on ownership across the data lifecycle, from ingestion through curated data marts
