Staff Data Scientist

Requirements:

• We require a masters degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field.
• We require experience completing at least two projects involving Bayesian inference, stochastic modeling, or both, in an academic or professional setting.
• We require demonstrated ability to develop high-quality functional or object-oriented code, evidenced by approximately 10,000 lines written in Python, R, or another programming language suitable for data analytics.

Responsibilities:

• We apply advanced quantitative and statistical methods to support business model development and product innovation.
• We develop and implement Bayesian models and stochastic simulations to generate insights and predictions, including analyses of user behavior and system performance.
• We manage projects from start to finish, covering data extraction, cleaning and preparation, model development and validation, and deployment of analytical solutions.
• We design and develop proof-of-concept applications as needed to operationalize and demonstrate modeling results.
• We prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations to stakeholders, summarizing methodologies, progress, and key findings.

We offer a role that permits telecommuting. The salary range is $115,835 to $175,000.
