Systems Engineer - Automation

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Associates degree in an engineering or technology field
• Proficient in applying advanced engineering skills and knowledge to solve complex problems independently
• Strong analytical abilities with a talent for resolving intricate and cross-functional issues
• Experience in collaborating with both local and international teams
• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time

Responsibilities:

• Design integrated systems that combine hardware and software
• Develop material specifications, create schematics, and ensure proper follow-up
• Propose solutions for productivity enhancement and cost reduction
• Facilitate knowledge exchange related to processes and applications for system design
• Engage in various project stages to enhance hardware, product, and software development
• Identify and define solutions for upgrades in customer facilities
• Collaborate with customer teams to identify challenges, devise solutions, and achieve project objectives
• Generate recommendations aimed at improving productivity, quality, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction
• Manage multiple projects within your area of expertise
• Engineer, design, and integrate automation and control systems tailored for the metals sector
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required
