Verification Lead

For our client, we are looking for a Verification Lead. In this role, you will take ownership of verification and validation activities related to the development of advanced power electronics solutions, working closely with R&D and testing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate verification and testing activities across internal and external test facilities
• Plan, execute, and oversee R&D and certification testing for new product developments
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis related to hardware and software performance
• Collaborate with engineering teams, certification specialists, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and product quality
• Drive continuous improvement of testing and verification processes

Requirements

• Experience in the design, development, or testing of power electronic systems, such as frequency converters, drives, or similar industrial equipment
• Understanding of relevant product safety standards and verification methodologies
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams
• Strong communication skills and an interest in mentoring and sharing knowledge
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach to work
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Considered an Advantage

• Knowledge of testing laboratory requirements and accreditation practices
• Experience with project coordination or project management
• Broad understanding of power conversion technologies and industrial drive systems

Assignment Details

• Location: Helsinki region (hybrid model)
• Allocation: 100%
• Start: As soon as possible
• Duration: 12 months
• Travel: Occasional travel within Finland and Europe (estimated 1-3 weeks annually)
