Senior Java Developer - Production Support

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience in software development and/or production support
• Strong Java development and troubleshooting skills
• Proven experience in L3/L4 application support and incident management
• Experience supporting complex, business-critical banking applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide L3/L4 production support for banking applications in production and non-production environments
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, manage critical incidents, and conduct root cause analysis
• Develop, test, and deploy Java enhancements, bug fixes, and new features
• Improve application performance, scalability, stability, and maintainability
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing using automated frameworks
• Implement lasting fixes and preventive measures to reduce recurring incidents
• Work with development, QA, DevOps, business, and client-facing teams
• Guide and mentor junior developers and support staff
• Maintain documentation on system design, incident resolution, and support procedures
